Students:
Need a cashbox for the Liberty Fall Festival? If so, please contact the Superintendent’s Office by the end of the day- Thursday, September 6th.
Liberty Fall Festival Parade has been cancelled. All other events will be held at the school in the “little gym” and the cafeteria.
FCCLA members who signed up to work the bounce house will no longer be needed. The bounce house has been cancelled, since activities have been moved indoors.
HS Volleyball Game – Thursday, September 6 at 6:00 – LHS Gymnasium
HS students come out and support the Liberty Eagles Volleyball team. HS students get in free by showing your school ID.
HS Students – If you did not get your school ID, stop by the office.
All 5th-12th Graders-- Sign Up for Baseball Home Run Derby this Saturday September 08 after Fall Festival Parade at the Junior High Baseball Field. Get Entry Form from a HS Baseball Player or at the Main Office.
Juniors: Deadline to sign up and pay for PSAT is this Friday (September 7th). The cost is $16, make checks payable to Liberty CUSD #2. Turn all payments in to Cathy Badgley.
Seniors: You should have an email from Mr. Adams’ with a link to sign up for your senior meetings. All Seniors need to sign up for this. Remember that you are responsible for checking with your classroom teachers to make sure you can come to Mr. Adams’ office during the time you signed up for. Seniors: There will be a financial aid information night held in the Choir room on September 12th from 6:00-7:30, you and your parents are invited to attend. Seniors: There will be a FAFSA completion workshop held here at the HS Computer Lab on October 10th from 5:30pm-7:30pm. You and your parents will have the opportunity to submit the FAFSA with the assistance of some financial experts. See Mr. Adams for details on paperwork that you need to bring with you.
Any 7th or 8th grader interested in playing JH basketball, please stop by the office and sign up.
Junior High Girls’ Basketball (6th thru 8th grades) practice begins Tuesday, September 4th from 3:30 – 5:00 in the Big Gym. Any girls interested in playing are welcome to attend. All players that attended the Player-Parent Meeting are reminded to get their paperwork turned in to the office. If you did not attend the Player-Parent Meeting, please stop by and we can discuss what needs to happen for you to practice/play.
Job Opportunity – A Licensed Home Daycare is looking for an assistant provider after school, when school is closed and during the summer. If interested, stop by the HS office.
October 20, 2018--at 8:30am First Annual Memorial 5K Run/Walk-RUNNING WITH EAGLES WINGS
Sophomores - You are in charge of the homecoming dance this year. We will meet mid-September to start working on that. If you are interested in being on the homecoming dance committee, please see Mrs. Schmidt. Your fundraising papers were handed out in English classes. Please track your individual fundraising (fundraising counts toward the dances your class is responsible for AND your senior trip). Forms are due at the end of first quarter. Bracelets have been ordered and typically take 6-8 weeks to come in. Please let your people know! Juniors - You have prom! We will be meeting later in the fall to discuss location, etc. If you want to be on the prom committee, please see Mrs. Schmidt! Seniors - You have the daddy/daughter, mommy/son dance as your last-minute fundraiser. Senior trip details will be discussed during lunch on Wednesday, September 12 in Mrs. Meyer’s room! We will re-confirm senior class color, motto, song, and flower. We will also decide on the destination for the trip.
Juniors: The Sign up sheet for the PSAT is in the front office. The PSAT will be on October 10th and costs $16. The deadline to sign up is September 7th. Checks should be made out to Liberty CUSD #2 and turned in to Cathy Badgley. 9-12 graders: The Makersfest expo is introducing a bridge building competition this year, each high school is invited to enter a team of 5 students. If you are interested in being on this team or just finding out more info, please see Mr. Adams before September 15th.

February 1 7:30-8 Jostens will collect ring orders from freshmen
Lunch for Today:
Thursday – Sloppy Joes, Hash Rounds ( Tator Tots), Fruit
Friday – No lunch served – 11:30 dismissal
