Students - Earbuds should not be worn in the hallways.
We will be starting Winter Speed Training tomorrow and will also meet Thursday this week!! After that we will go Monday and Thursday every week. Open to ANYONE who wants to get faster... no kid will be turned away regardless of age as long as you show up and want to get faster!! Will be done by 415 at the latest every day! - Coaches Schmidt's
HOCO Theme - vote by lunch today! Located in your email OR bookmarked under the Liberty tab! Seniors will meet at lunch Tuesday, 11/13 for their category. Juniors will meet Wednesday, 11/14 at lunch. Sophomore lunch meeting 11/15, and Freshman will meet Friday, 11/16.
We welcome all students to audition for a play/movie that the Jr. High creative writing class is making. We need talent in acting, singing (only a handful of parts), rapping (also a handful of parts as well), being loud, and being overall funny.
Some of the characters in our historic fictional comedy includes Donald Stump (Donald Trump), Tardy B (Cardi B), and Snoop Dog. We have 14 other named characters, and many other positions as extras.
If you are interested in auditioning, please sign up at Mrs. Schmidt's door, or if you are under the age of 10, please tell your teacher if don't know where Mrs. Schmidt's classroom is. or could sign up by seeing Suzana Andrews, Julian Luaders, Daisy Frey, Karlie Sparrow, or Cora Schuette.
Auditions will start on Wednesday, Nov. 14, during eighth hour(2:20-3:05). If this doesn't work for you, please talk to one of the above names.
Do not use the red benches as a storage unit. If you need more room than your locker provides, you can put gym bags in the room by the HS entrance.
Check out the Eagle Pride Clothing in our new display window, built by Allen Flynn. All orders are due November 19.
There will be a Science Olympiad meeting in Mrs. Hodgson's room during junior high lunch Tuesday, Nov. 13.
Drivers – Be safe when you are driving. Be mindful of the rules of the road. When you are leaving the parking lot after school, drive slowly and always watch for other students walking to and from busses.
Deer Hunters – If you are planning on hunting on opening day of deer season (November 16) you must complete a pre arranged absence form and turn it in to the office along with a copy of your 2018 deer tags. BE SAFE, HAPPY HUNTING!!!
Seniors, the Elks National Foundation scholarships are available in Mr. Adams office. Application deadline is November 18, 2018.
