7th grade boys interested in playing JH baseball next year can sign up in the office.
Juniors & Seniors – If you are bringing a date to prom that does not attend Liberty School you must have a completed dance request form on file in the office. Stop by and ask Cathy if you have questions. J
Prom photo information is available in the office.
JH semi-formal dance is going to be on Friday, April 5. It is from 6:00-9:00 PM. It is $3 per student!
Jostens will deliver class rings to the freshman on April 16 from 7:30-8:00.
8th graders: there will be a lunch meeting for all 8th graders in Mrs. Schmidt’s room on Tuesday, April 9
Freshman/Sophomores: You will be participating in the PSAT 9/10 next week as part of Illinois state testing. This is a good opportunity for you to get some experience with this series of tests as you will be taking the SAT your junior year. We will be testing at St. Brigid's church. Freshmen will take the test next Tuesday on the 9th, and Sophomores will test next Wednesday on the 10th. Students will report to school as normal and then we will walk over to the church. You will need two #2 pencils and a calculator.
Juniors & Seniors – vote for prom court on Google Classroom
The next jr high Youth Advisory Committee meeting with Mrs. Sohn will be Thursday, April 11 during jr high lunch in Mrs. Hodgson's room
Umpires needed for summer league, umpires need to be at least 16 years old or have completed their sophomore year of high school baseball/softball. Sign up in the HS office.
8th grade pictures will be taken on April 11 by Churchill photography. A group picture will be taken of all students; individual photos will be taken of those kids ordering that option. Forms will be available soon.
If you are bringing a guest that does not attend our school to prom you must fill out a dance request form and have it on file in the office.
Juniors: Area high school juniors will be given an opportunity to explore the Quincy campus of John Wood Community College during the school’s JDub Day on Friday, April 5. During the event, students will hear from current students and alumni, learn about starting the college search process with savings and opportunities at JWCC. Participants will sit in on a sample class, experience student life at JWCC and take part in the JDUB Amazing Race, as they separate into teams and explore the campus looking for objects and clues. A free lunch and t-shirt will also be provided.

8th-11th graders, you will find in your school email an invite to a google classroom that has our course catalog for the 2019-2020 school year. Mr. Adams will be by your classrooms in the next few days to distribute registration forms for your 2019-2020 class schedule. Forms will be due back to Mr. Adams on Wednesday, April 3rd. Any forms turned in after that date will be given the lowest priority when the schedule is created. If you need any help in filling out the class requests, come to Mr. Adams' office for assistance.
