Good Morning Liberty!
November 7, 2014
Students:
JH & HS FCCLA members will have a group photo taken today during 2nd hour.
The Veteran’s Day Salute will be held Monday at 1:30 in the big gym. The program should last for about an hour. Students will be expected to report to 8th hour after the assembly is over. We will have guests in the building from the surrounding communities so please remember to represent Liberty School in the best way possible. Make us proud!
**JH & HS band and choir students should be dismissed at 1:05 for the assembly. The remaining students and staff will be dismissed at 1:15.
**7th grade students will be dismissed near the end of the assembly to get their projects ready for the History Fair.
Students & Staff: please park in the gravel parking lot on Monday so our guests can park closer to the building.
HS Volleyball players-please turn in your uniforms to Mr. Miller.
HS cross country runners-please turn in your uniforms.

**students will meet in the health room by the HS office
Junior High Students – remember to take your earned “Eagle Pride” slips to lunch with you on today so you can be entered into the drawing
Bullying and School Violence forms can be found outside the HS office. If you would like to report bullying or violence please fill out the form. Completed forms can be turned into the HS office or by placing them in locker # 101. Forms can be completed and submitted anonymously at anytime. Students can still report bullying or violence to any principal, teacher or staff member.
Any HS student interested in quiz bowl should meet with Mr. McGinty at the end of the day today or stop by the HS office to sign up.
Juniors and Seniors - the deadline for signing up for the December ACT is this Friday, November 7th. Register at www.actstudent.org Seniors - All males between the ages of 18 - 25 are required to register for the selective service. You can do so easily online at www.sss.gov. Not registering can be punishable with up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. Also, in Illinois, you are required to register in order to receive a new driver's license between the ages of 18-25 and to receive any type of federal/state financial aid for college. If you need any help with registering please see Mr. Adams.
Weight room will be open today for any HS baseball player.
