Good Morning Liberty!

Students:
.The Veteran’s Day Salute will be held today at 1:30 in the big gym. The program should last for about an hour. Students will be expected to report to 8th hour after the assembly is over. We will have guests in the building from the surrounding communities so please remember to represent Liberty School in the best way possible. Make us proud!
**JH & HS band and choir students should be dismissed at 1:05 for the assembly. The remaining students and staff will be dismissed at 1:15.
**7th grade students will be dismissed near the end of the assembly to get their projects ready for the History Fair.
Junior Officers, there will be a meeting Wednesday morning at 7:40 a.m. in Mrs. Vogel's room. Sophomores, please stop by Mrs. Vogel's room today to pick up a Puffin fundraising order form. If you need more chocolate bars, you may pick those up too. This week is FUN FRIDAY! The fun will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the lobby. Be there! Thanks to all who donated blood last Tuesday. The blood drive was a success because of you. There were a total of 63 units of blood donated. This is an increase of 25 units over the drive last fall. There were also 22 first time donors! Thank you!!! It is great to know that Liberty School helped 189 lives! Homecoming is just around the corner! The dance will be held on Friday, December 5, from 7-10:00 p.m. If you are bringing a guest from another school, please remember to get your dance form filled out and turned in.
The weight room will be open Monday and Wednesday this week for HS baseball players.
HS Volleyball players-please turn in your uniforms to Mr. Miller.
HS cross country runners-please turn in your uniforms.
Bullying and School Violence forms can be found outside the HS office. If you would like to report bullying or violence please fill out the form. Completed forms can be turned into the HS office or by placing them in locker # 101. Forms can be completed and submitted anonymously at anytime. Students can still report bullying or violence to any principal, teacher or staff member.
Any HS student interested in quiz bowl should stop by the HS office to sign up.
Seniors - All males between the ages of 18 - 25 are required to register for the selective service. You can do so easily online at www.sss.gov. Not registering can be punishable with up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. Also, in Illinois, you are required to register in order to receive a new driver's license between the ages of 18-25 and to receive any type of federal/state financial aid for college. If you need any help with registering please see Mr. Adams.
