Congratulations – Levi Obert is September student of the month. Way to go Levi!!!!
Freshman & Sophomores – Turn in your completed permission slips to the office by Friday if you plan on attending the Teen Safe Driving workshop on October 9, 2015. You must have permission slips turned in to the office if you want to go on the trip. Extra permission slips are available in the office.
A representative from Truman State University will be here to speak with interested students during the high school lunch hour this Thursday, October 1st.=
It is a SPECtacular day! Your future is sure to be bright, and you will see much more clearly with your Liberty Eagle sunglasses. Be a shade cooler and buy yours today for only $5.00. Glasses will be sold in the concession stand during lunch. Have a SPECtacular day! Student Council members will have a yearbook picture taken today. Volley for the Cure- If you would like to donate an item for the raffle, please contact Amanda Zehnle, Shelby Clinging, or Hadley Duke. These items do not have to be pink or breast cancer related. All items are welcomed and appreciated. =

9th-12th Grade: JWWC is hosting the Illinois Regional College Fair Wednesday, October 14 from 6-7:30 pm. Here students can meet representatives from many in-state and out-of-state colleges and universities. See Mr. Adams for more details.
Seniors: Quincy Preserves is offering an annual $1,000 college scholarship. Two seniors will be chosen to receive this scholarship based on their scholastic achievement, personal integrity, involvement in school and community activities, and a well-written essay on preservation of historic buildings. Applicants do not have to be planning on studying historic preservation, but, rather, should demonstrate enough interest to foster any efforts to continue preservation in their communities. See Mr. Adams for applications. Completed applications are due February 8th.
Also seniors: Mr. Adams has a website that you can use to find scholarships for college. The website link is: http://libertyjustinadams.weebly.com/. See Mr. Adams if you have any questions.
P.E.O. STAR Scholarships are now available in Mr. Adams's office.
P.E.O. Chapter is looking for college bound, female senior high school students who might be interested in applying for a $2,500 scholarship from their International organization.
Need to have it in by October 17th, 2015.
