Any boy interested in playing basketball this year should pick up the necessary paperwork from the folder on the door of the coach's office.

Tuesday, November 3, 2015 – Blood Drive at LHS 9:00-6:00 p.m.
The LHS Student Council is collecting items this week to be sent to 25 active military men that are currently serving overseas. We are asking each class to help. The class that brings in the most items will have a pizza party on November 25. Monday: Magazines, games, puzzle books Tuesday: Personal Hygiene items Wednesday: Heat resistant foods and candies Thursday: Writing supplies Friday: Anything your forgot during the week and cash donations to cover the postage. Each dollar will count as an item toward the contest.
Seniors: New scholarship opportunity available for students who wish to attend a post-secondary school or an accredited vocational/technical school. Students must obtain a C-average and fill out the application by March 1st. See Mr. Adams for application and more information.
HS volleyball girls need to turn their uniforms in to Mr. Miller ASAP! Thanks! J
Picture retake day – November 4, 2015. Forms are available in the office if you need one.
Seniors: John Wood is switching J-Dub day for seniors from the spring to the fall. It will be held on November 13th at JWCC. You can sign up for J-Dub day at jwcc.edu/jdub. This will count as one of your two college visit days. You will need to have your teachers sign a pre-arranged absence form. Please ask Mr. Adams if you have any questions.=
Sophomores, your Puffin order forms and money are due to Mrs. Vogel by Tuesday, November 3. If you need another order form for the long weekend, please see Mrs. Vogel before leaving on Thursday. =
Seniors – 4th Annual Senior Year New Car Giveaway—The more “A”s you earn, the more chances you have to win. Earn a chance to win a new car with every report card “A” during your first three quarters of the school year. Stop by the Quincy Mall to register at the Service Booth. Bring your report cards, along with a valid ID to get registered.
Seniors: Mr. Adams has information for the DAR scholarship program, open to all seniors who have shown excellent citizenship. The local level includes a small scholarship and recognition, with larger scholarships at the State and National levels. Please see Mr. Adams ASAP for application, as it is due back to him by next Monday (October 26th).

November 18 – seniors – Jostens will be here to take graduation orders and money at lunch.
December 7 – Financial Aid Night in Mrs. Meyer’s @ 6:30 p.m.
December 15 – K-12th grades Winter Vocal Concert @ 7:00 p.m.
