Students:
Happy Hunting!!!!!
Deer season – Opening day of deer season is November 20, 2015. If you plan on hunting that day, you must have a copy of your Illinois deer tag on file in the office. In order for this day to count as an excused absence, a student must be within the 9 excused absences for the year.
Any students interested in joining High School Quiz Bowl this season need to visit Mr. McGinty either before or after school and write their name on the sign up sheet.
Pep Assembly – today at 9:30, let’s send the Liberty HS Cross Country teams off to the state meet with a celebration in the big gym.
All Juniors: Make an appointment to see Mr. Adams, a sign-up sheet is posted outside of his office door. Seniors: If you didn't make an appointment to see Mr. Adams (or you want to have a follow up) please do so now.
The LHS Student Council is collecting items this week to be sent to 25 active military men that are currently serving overseas. We are asking each class to help. The class that brings in the most items will have a pizza party on November 25. Friday: Anything you forgot during the week and cash donations to cover the postage. Each dollar will count as an item toward the contest.
Seniors: New scholarship opportunity available for students who wish to attend a post-secondary school or an accredited vocational/technical school. Students must obtain a C-average and fill out the application by March 1st. See Mr. Adams for application and more information.
Seniors: John Wood is switching J-Dub day for seniors from the spring to the fall. It will be held on November 13th at JWCC. You can sign up for J-Dub day at jwcc.edu/jdub.
