Good Morning Liberty!

National Honor Society application forms are due TODAY at the end of the day.  Submit them to Classroom.  See Mrs. Miller if you have questions


JH Students – You should not have your cell phone on you during the school day. They need to be stored in your locker between 8:05-3:10.

Taking pictures with your cell phone at school is NEVER allowed for any students.


HS Students – If you are bringing a guest to the Homecoming dance on January 30, 2016 from another school, you must have a guest permission form on file in the HS office. Guests must have a photo ID with them as they enter the dance.


Junior high quiz bowl practice will be Wed 2/3 and Thur 2/4 after school from 3:15-4:30 in Miss Jackson's room


Yearbook needs your help.  Tag your pictures with #LHSHOCO2016 on social media starting with the dance on Saturday and ending with the decorating on Friday.


Students – If you have a Chromebook remember to handle it with care. They will break! Also, don’t leave them in vehicles when it is cold outside.


The Polar Plunge team will be selling popsicles Jan. 29th for Junior High students during study hall and between classes of 7th and 8th hour for the High School.  Popsicles will be $1, all profits will go to Special Olympics.


Freshmen- Jostens will be here on February 1, 2016 to hand out information about ordering class rings.


Do you have a Prom Dress you want to sell or are you looking to buy a dress? Palmyra First Christian Church 6th Annual Prom Dress Resale will be held January 29 6-8pm and January 30 10-4. Stop by the office for more details.








Important Dates:

January 30 – HS Student Council Homecoming Dance 7-10pm @ LHS

February 1 – Jostens will meet with freshmen class about class rings.

February 5 – HS students will be decorating the halls for homecoming

February 5 – Homecoming game Liberty vs Payson @ 6:00

February 5 – Liberty Education Foundation Fiesta in the cafeteria

February 10 – Hat day for students- $1.00 to Special Olympics

February 12- School Improvement Day – 11:30 dismissal

February 15 – No School – President’s Day

March 11 – End of 3rd nine weeks – School Improvement Day, 11:30 dismissal

March 12 & 13—3rd Annual 5 on 5 Basketball Tournament. The boys play on Saturday and the girls play on Sunday.


Lunch for Today:

Thursday – Hamburger on Bun, Baked Beans, Fruit

Friday – Pork Chop Sandwich, Broccoli, Fries, Fruit
