Students:
Dismiss the 5-8th grade cross country runners that will be going to State today at 11:00.
Students – If you would like to volunteer at the Cheryl Hoener benefit on October 15, 2016, please see Mrs Meyer. The benefit will be held at the Adams County Fairgrounds starting at 9:00 a.m.
Students – If you signed up to walk in the Brainwave 5K in honor of Mr Miller on October 22, 2016, and would be interested in riding a bus to the event, please stop by the HS office and sign up. The bus will leave at 8:15.
Mr. Adams will be taking interested 11th & 12th grade students to the JWCC Manufacturing Expo on Friday, October 14. Please see Mr. Adams in his office to sign up. Space is limited.
JWCC’s Academic or Leadership waivers are now available in Mr. Adams' office. These waivers can cover half to full tuition at JWCC. Stop by Mr. Adams' office to get an application form.
9-12th grade students, the college fair is Wednesday, October 19th from 6-7:30 p.m. at the JWCC activities center. Over 50 colleges will be in attendance at this event. Mr. Adams' will be at the area high school counselor's table, stop by and sign in to be entered into a drawing for some sweet and amazing prizes.

October 15 – LHS Band at Octoberfest Parade in Quincy at 2:00
October 17 – LHS Marching Band Concert 7:00 pm
October 19 – Adams County Health Department Flu shot clinic 3-5:30 in chorus room. Cost is $25.00 for community members.
October 26 – 11:30 dismissal – Parent Teacher Conferences
October 27 – 11:30 dismissal – Parent Teacher Conferences
October 28 – No School – Parent Teacher Conferences
November 2 – Jostens will meet with the Senior Class to order graduation items at 8:10.
November 2 – Juniors will take the PSAT
November 8 – Jostens will collect orders and money from senior class
November 10 – Picture retake day – Lifetouch
November 10 – Veteran’s Day assembly, 1:30 in the LHS gym
November 11 – Veteran’s Day, No School
November 14-18 - Fall Scholastic bookfair
January 30 - Jostens will meet with freshman class about rings at 8:10
February 3 – Class ring orders and money due from freshman class
April 22 – LHS Prom at Holiday Inn, 5:30 pm

Friday – Shrimp Poppers, Macaroni & Cheese, Peas, Fruit
Monday – Chicken Patty on Bun, Salad, Fruit
