Good Morning Liberty!

Students:

 

DEAR – today 2nd hour

 

JH & HS Students and Staff– The FFA members will be having a general election for the Presidency and the County Sheriff candidates today during lunch. All voters will have a chance to win a $10 gift card to a local business.

 

FCCLA has another volunteer opportunity: this saturday from 4-6 at the Taco & Potatoe Bar. Please sign up in Mrs. Meyer's Room if you can help.

 

Liberty Pride Clothing order form can be found in the rack outside the office. Clothing samples will be available at the Red & White Night. Orders must be turned in by Nov 18.

 

 

Students – Family Read Night Presents Z & N Magic on Monday, November 14 @ 7:00 pm in the small gym. Come check out this free magic show!!!

 

Seniors: There are several different scholarships available for seniors with a parent/grandparent who is either a veteran or active duty. Please see Mr. Adams for more information.

 

Picture retake day will be Thursday, November 10, 2016.

 

All juniors and any seniors who haven't already done so needs to schedule a visit with Mr. Adams. Sign up sheets for the next three weeks are posted outside of his doorway. If you are signing up during a time that isn't study hall, you will need to bring a pass from your teacher to indicate that you have permission from your teacher to be out of their class during that time.

Seniors – Jostens will be back tomorrow to collect orders and money for graduation items. $60 down payment is required. Extra order forms available in the HS office.

 

We are going to do Penny Wars for the junior high and high school students next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday! Thursday will be the day the winning class gets chips and soda! Buckets will be in the cafeteria each day during lunch. Pennies count. Silver takes away. All money will go toward LCA. I will take care of the buckets and money!

Also, if anyone is going to purchase a Yearbook, please get your orders in to the office or to Mrs. McCleary!

Seniors - class bios need to be turned in as soon as possible to Mrs. McCleary!

If any senior has their senior picture, please get that to Mrs. McCleary!

November 8 – 2nd hour

November 15 – 3rd hour

November 22 – 4th hour

November 29 – 5th hour   

                  

Important Dates:

November 8 – Jostens will collect orders and money from senior class

November 10 – Picture retake day – Lifetouch

November 10 – Veteran’s Day assembly, 1:30 in the LHS gym

November 11 – Veteran’s Day, No School

November 12 – Red & White Taco & Potato Bar in the cafeteria from 4-6pm sponsored by the Liberty Booster Club.

November 12 – Red & White Night @ 5:15- Bring a non-perishable food item for admission- Food collected will go to the Liberty Food Pantry.

November 14-18 - Fall Scholastic book fair

November 14 – Magic Show in the little gym at 7:00 pm.

January 30 - Jostens will meet with freshman class about rings at 8:10

February 3 – Class ring orders and money due from freshman class

April 22 – LHS Prom at Holiday Inn, 5:30 pm

Lunch for Today:

Tuesday – Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Roll, Fruit
