Students interested in a healthcare related field: We will be offering a new course next year called Advanced Health. You will need to have already completed health class to be able to enroll. This course will cover advanced topics in health and explore health care related fields, amongst other topics. Through this course you will also be able to receive CPR certification. This would be an excellent class to take if you are thinking about nursing, pre-med, CNA, EMT or another other health related field. If you are interested, please see Mr. Adams ASAP to change your course registration.

On Wednesday, April 12, Liberty School will participate in our required annual active shooter drill. This will be conducted in coordination with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department. The actual drill will begin first thing in the morning around 8:15 a.m. and will probably last about an hour, with a de-briefing meeting with students to follow in the gym/cafeteria. During the drill, representatives from each classroom in grades 5-12th grade, under the guidance of their teacher, will decide whether to remain in a lock down or escape from the building. This will depend on where the active shooter is located in the building. These students will meet sheriff’s deputies/school staff at the bus garage.
Juniors & Seniors – If you are bringing a guest to prom that does not attend LHS you must have a dance request form on file in the HS office. Stop by and see me if you have questions.
