Jh HS Announcements - October 5

Liberty High School

Good Morning Liberty!

October 5, 2017

HS Students – If you are bringing a guest to the Sadie Hawkins dance that does not attend LHS, you will need to have a completed dance request form on file in the HS office for the 2017-2018 school year. Stop by the office if you have questions.

FCCLA members who would like to bake cookies for Volley for the Cure after school today please let Mrs Meyer know. If you plan on staying after school, you will meet in the little gym from 2:00-3:00.

Seniors – Thursday, October 5- Senior class meeting at 12:09 in Mrs. Miller’s room during lunch. Pizza will be available for purchase, 1.00 per slice!!!!

Congratulations to Shane Ormond, he was selected as September Student of the Month!!!!!

On Thursday, October 12th, ALL students at Liberty School can pay $1.00 to wear a hat to school.  Please keep the hats simple.  We prefer that the hats be something that will not be too distracting and interrupt learning.  The money raised that day will be going to support Cure SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy).  Mrs. Bushmeyer is running in a half marathon this fall.  This run is near and dear to our hearts because she is running in memory of her son, Roman Bushmeyer.  All of the donations collected will got to support Cure SMA. Let’s “Be the Light” for Mrs. Bushmeyer and wear our hats on October 12th.

LHS Volley for the Cure- Let’s Paint the Gym Pink – Thursday, October 5th

HS students – Sadie Hawkins will be October 13 at 7:00 in the small gym. We will have a professional photographer available at the dance for pictures. Picture packets will be available soon. The photographer will be set up and ready to go at 7:00 that night! Come dress up in your best Sadie Hawkins attire!
