Sophomores: The regional sophomore career fair has been scheduled for February 2nd, which is our homecoming decorating day, so we unfortunately won’t be able to attend this year. I have spoken to the organizers of the career fair and they have agreed to let us bring both sophomores and juniors next year to the career fair so that you will still be able to go to this event and participate in the exploration of various career pathways. If you have any questions please see Mr. Adams.
Seniors: The Patricia & Leonard Kramer Memorial Scholarship application from Altrusa International of Quincy is available in Mr. Adams’ office. To be eligible for this scholarship you need to have a 2.8 minimum GPA and be active in school and or community service. Due March 15th, 2018.
YLA students will be hosting a half-court shootout on Thursday, January 11th during lunch. It will cost $1 per shot or $5 for 6 shots. There will be prizes awarded to the first three winners. The money will go towards helping out the Liberty Food Pantry.
