January 10 – Hat Day !!! Money will go towards the Polar Plunge. Pay 1 dollar and wear your favorite hat.
Half Court Shootout – January 11- during lunch in the big gym. $1.00 for one shot or $5.00 for 6 shots. Prizes will awarded!!!!
Junior high quiz bowl practice on Wednesday from 3:15-4:30.
High school quiz bowl match Thursday away against Mendon.
Students – Please return any library books that you borrowed before winter break.
Sophomores: The regional sophomore career fair has been scheduled for February 2nd, which is our homecoming decorating day, so we unfortunately won’t be able to attend this year. I have spoken to the organizers of the career fair and they have agreed to let us bring both sophomores and juniors next year to the career fair so that you will still be able to go to this event and participate in the exploration of various career pathways. If you have any questions please see Mr. Adams.
Seniors: The Patricia & Leonard Kramer Memorial Scholarship application from Altrusa International of Quincy is available in Mr. Adams’ office. To be eligible for this scholarship you need to have a 2.8 minimum GPA and be active in school and or community service. Due March 15th, 2018.
High school students: Please check your google classroom for the homecoming theme vote! The code is 9rz8cn9. All votes must be in by 8th hour on Friday, 1/5. Any votes after will not count! Final theme picks for each class will be completed during lunch the week of 1/8. Seniors will meet and choose their theme on 1/8, juniors will meet and choose on 1/9, sophomores on 1/10, and freshman on 1/11. Please see Miss Callahan with any questions. Junior Class: There will be an after-prom meeting in Miss Callahan’s room on 1/11 at 7:35 am. Please make every effort to be there! You are responsible for planning after-prom! Senior Trip Committee: Please meet in Miss Callahan’s room on 1/10 at 7:35 am to discuss senior trip financials and itinerary. Senior Trip Fundraising Committee: Any senior who is interested in helping with fundraising needs to see Miss Callahan on 1/9 at 7:35 am to get that started. If no one shows up or contacts Miss Callahan, it will be assumed that seniors will be paying the difference for their trip and will not be fundraising. Junior high - any junior high student who is interested in signing up for track needs to see Miss Callahan sometime in the month of January to sign-up.
