Junior high quiz bowl meeting Thursday at 11:20 in Miss Jackson's room.
Drivers education students who wish to drive – times are available for periods 4-8 both Thursday and Friday, Please sign up in the office.
FCA Meeting on Wed. 1/24/18: We will be having pizza, games, and activities starting at 6:15pm in Mrs. Hannel's classroom!!! Anyone 9th-12th grade is welcome to attend!!!
Seniors - if you are planning on going on senior trip, you MUST have your deposit paid by January 31st or you will NOT be going on senior trip!

Popsicles sale for Junior High students on Wednesday & Thursday during Study Hall.
There will be a meeting in Mrs. Reichert's room during lunch for all high school softball players on Wednesday.

Thursday:
High school quiz bowl match at Pittsfield. Meet in the lobby outside the office at 3:10.
All JH students - Group runs will continue every Tuesday and Thursday until track starts. All students are welcome, even if they do not participate in track or cross country. We will meet immediately after school in the lobby by the band room and be done by 4 pm!
HS Students –
If you are bringing a date to the Homecoming dance that does not attend LHS, you must have a completed dance request form on file in the HS office. If you have questions stop by and ask Cathy.
PIZZA- HS students will be able to order pizza for lunch on homecoming decorating day ( February 2 ). Pizza will be $1 per slice or $8 per pizza. You will be given an order form in your English class on January 25. Completed forms and money will be due on January 26. The concession stand will be open on decorating day too.
I would like to schedule Wednesday, February 7 for Winter Sports Picture Day for the high school and junior high. Does this date conflict with any one? Will there be any classes, sports, or clubs gone that day? It is a small group so we should be done by 10:00 at the latest.

If I have missed your club or sport and you did not get pictures taken during the Fall Picture Day, please let me know.
High School Softball, Baseball, and Track will be taken later in the Spring.
9th-12th - Kaleb Smith from Quincy Vocational Center will be here on Tuesday, January 23 to talk about career training programs that could be available to you during your Junior and Senior years through Quincy. He will be presenting during third hour in Mrs. Meyer’s career class.
Thursday January 25th, Blessing Health Systems will be here during the same third hour class to present on health careers.
If you wish to sit in on one of these sessions, and if your third hour teacher allow you to, you may sign up with Mrs. Meyer’s by the end of the day on Monday. Students will need passes from their third hour teachers to show that you have permission to be there. (The vocational center will be back out sometime in the Spring to present during a lunch time as well, so if you cannot make that particular session but are interested in the voc. tech., there will be another chance in the future to get more information.)
Seniors: The Patricia & Leonard Kramer Memorial Scholarship application from Altrusa International of Quincy is available in Mr. Adams’ office. To be eligible for this scholarship you need to have a 2.8 minimum GPA and be active in school and or community service. Due March 15th, 2018.

May 1 – HS Awards Night 7:00 in the big gym
