Students:
JH & HS Educational Talent Search – Pizza party will be on May 11 during JH & HS lunch in the Health room.
The following Seniors need to turn in a Senior picture to Mrs. McCleary by Friday, April 11, for the Yearbook or your picture from LifeTouch will be used.

HS Students – If you park on the blacktop parking lot by the HS doors you need to have your vehicle moved by 3:30 on Thursday, May 10. So, if you have practice or game that night you need to make sure you move your car before you leave. The lot MUST be clear of all cars by 3:30.
Sophomores & Juniors – Mr. Adams will be taking a group of students to the Quincy Vocational Center this Friday afternoon. IF you are interested in going in to see the classes offered please see Mr. Adams by Wednesday, May 9.
Reminder – To all interested high school golf participants for the fall season-please turn in your $40. activity fee by this Friday, May 11th to Mrs. Badgley. The School Board will make the decision if the golf team will be allowed to continue based on the number of committed players.
May 16th – All library books are due!

John Wood Aleks students: Miss. Graff will be here Wednesday, May 9 to proctor your final from 8 - 10 am. Please make sure it is okay with your 1st - 3rd hour teachers to miss class. On Wednesday, you will report to your 1st hour for attendance and lunch count then go to the Junior High Computer lab for the final. Good Luck!!!
Juniors: - Camp College is a FREE 4-day, 3-night program on July 10th-13th designed for rising seniors (current juniors). Students will be exposed to a variety of college-related topics and learn first-hand from college admissions professionals and high school counselors. Campers will gain valuable skills and tools they can use to prepare for the college search, application, financing, and selection process. This year students will visit Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, University of Missouri – Saint Louis, and Blackburn College. The deadline to register is May 11th, see Mr. Adams for more details.
HS Graduation practice will be May 31 from 1:00-3:00 in the big gym. Bring your cap and gown to practice with you. A group and individual picture will be taken of the graduating class during that time. Order forms will be available soon. J
8th grade promotion practice will be held on May 29 during the school day. Time will be announced soon.
8th grade students – please bring in one picture from when you were younger ( 2-4 years old). Please give the photos to Miss Callahan. All pictures should be turned in by May 9, 2018. Put your name on the back of the picture so it can be returned.
