Students:
DEAR- Tuesday, January 26, first hour
NHS application forms are due at the end of the day Thursday. Submit them to the assignment in Classroom. If you need help or have questions, please see Mrs. Miller.
JH band yearbook picture will be taken after lunch on January 25, 2016.
The Polar Plunge team will be selling popsicles Jan. 29th for Junior High students during study hall and between classes of 7th and 8th hour for the High School. Popsicles will be $1, all profits will go to Special Olympics.
Junior high quiz bowl practice Wed. 1/27 after school from 3:10-4:30 in Miss Jackson's room.
Freshmen- Jostens will be here on February 1, 2016 to hand out information about ordering class rings.
Seniors: The Elijah Smith Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution, is offering the "Outstanding Citizenship Award" to a senior graduating from you school. Submit your service/leadership resume to Mr. Adams by February 1.
Seniors: Quincy Service League is offering a $1000 scholarship. Requirements are: Applicant must be a resident of Adams County. This scholarship will be awarded to a person who wishes to pursue post secondary or vocational/technical training. Applicants will be evaluated in terms of their community service, commitment to a course of study, and financial need. Applications must be postmarked no later than April 1, 2016. Completed application, written response, three letters of recommendation, and high school or college transcripts. See Mr. Adams for applications and more information.
Do you have a Prom Dress you want to sell or are you looking to buy a dress? Palmyra First Christian Church 6th Annual Prom Dress Resale will be held January 29 6-8pm and January 30 10-4. Stop by the office for more details.
HS Students – If you are bringing a guest to the Homecoming dance on January 30, 2016 from another school, you must have a guest permission form on file in the HS office by January 27.
Seniors: There will be a FAFSA completion workshop on January 27th in the High school computer lab. Financial aid experts will be on hand from 7-9 p.m. that evening for you and your parent to come in and file for the FAFSA. See Mr. Adams for a list of documentation that you will need to bring with you.

January 30 – HS Student Council Homecoming Dance 7-10pm @ LHS
February 1 – Jostens will meet with freshmen class about class rings.
February 5 – HS students will be decorating the halls for homecoming
February 5 – Homecoming game Liberty vs Payson @ 6:00
February 5 – Liberty Education Foundation Fiesta in the cafeteria
February 10 – Hat day for students- $1.00 to Special Olympics
February 12- School Improvement Day – 11:30 dismissal
February 15 – No School – President’s Day
March 11 – End of 3rd nine weeks – School Improvement Day, 11:30 dismissal
March 12 & 13—3rd Annual 5 on 5 Basketball Tournament. The boys play on Saturday and the girls play on Sunday.

Tuesday – Salisbury Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Breadstick, Fruit
