Every School District in Adams County.

On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Adams County voters will decide on a 1% county school facilities sales tax. 

If approved, every Adams County school district would receive a share of the penny for their school buildings, school resource officers, and school mental health professionals. Based on current enrollment, Liberty CUSD 2 would receive over $780,000 annually.

Since the original 1932 school building, six additions have expanded the Liberty Schools campus.  In 1952, the school added a separate building, and a 1970 expansion connected the buildings so students could access every classroom without going outside.  The floor plan linked below, originally drafted in 2020, shows the facility layout and the current age of each section.  If the school board receives funds from approval of this sales tax, it could address many existing facility challenges.
