LEGAL NOTICE

INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for the lease of school buses by Liberty Community Unit School District #2, Liberty, Illinois, will be received by the Board of Education at the monthly Board meeting on March 18th, 2026, until 6:00 P.M. Bids will be opened and read aloud at that time.  Bids will be considered for the lease of two 71-passenger gas school buses, equipped as specified, with delivery prior to August 2026.

Bid Specifications will be available at the Transportation Department located at 505 N. Park St., Liberty, Illinois 62305 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning  Monday, February 23^rd, 2026

The Board of Education reserves the right to reject all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities, errors, or irregularities in bids received or in the bidding process, and to accept the bid that the Board of Education deems the most favorable to its interest after all bids have been examined and canvassed.
